New Law Could Make Concealed Carry Permits Valid Across State Lines
Team concealedonline.com is ECSTATIC to announce this breaking news!!!
Bottom line: gun laws may get a lot looser and you
If this bill passes, concealed carry permits would be treated just like DRIVERS LICENSES!
It would make firearm concealed carry permits valid across state lines, which means it would let gun owners travel with their firearms to other states that allow concealed carry.
Tell me that’s not totally AWESOME NEWS!!!
THE NITTY GRITTY
The CONCEALED CARRY RECIPROCITY ACT OF 2017 would require each state to recognize CCW permits from every other state REGARDLESS of permitting standards.
The bill helps law-abiding gun owners avoid violating conflicting state laws!
Residents of states that don’t require permits to carry a concealed weapon would be able to carry their weapons in other states that allow concealed carry, as long as they abide by local laws.
IN PLAIN ENGLISH
Texas Sen. John Cornyn, the No. 2 Republican boiled it down to something we can all understand:
“I support the Constitutional carry because I view it kind of like a driver’s license. If you have a license of one state, you shouldn’t have to get a separate license in another state. It’s really important and it will save lives.”
The concealedonline.com team ENDORSES this bill and knows it will pass the Senate in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
